Futon Mattresses

If you have a sensitive back, you might want to upgrade to a thicker mattress for your futon.  Futon mattresses that have more "layers" or coils tend to be thicker and more comfortable.  Many frames are sold without futon mattresses.  The twin sized futon mattresses are generally used on futon chairs; the full and queen sized mattresses are for the corresponding sized frame of a couch sleeper futon unit.

  • Twin Sized Futon Mattresses
Typically, the twin sized futon mattresses are used for futon chairs, but they might also be a component of a "Fu-Chest." Plush layers or coils will determine how comfortable the mattress will be.

  • Full Sized Futon Mattresses
Standard futon sleeper couches generally require full sized futon mattresses. The thickness, number of layers or coils will affect how comfortable your futon mattress will be for sitting or sleeping

  • Queen Sized Futon Mattresses
Sleep like royalty on a Serta mattress unit. Queen sized futon mattresses may require a queen frame. Check your futon frame specifications first before buying.
